Then execute the file you downloaded to expand it into the complete installation file set. Finally, follow the instructions provided in the User Guide to begin installation. |

NAV Command Line Scanner
for DOS and Windows 3.x/95/98 FAT disk partitions ONLY | User Guide | NAVCMAIN.EXE (01/28/2003) Download and execute this archive file, then follow the instructions in the User Guide to create a set of emergency scanning diskettes. The command-line scanner is to be used when a "Rescue Disk" set is not available and cannot be made from a copy of NAV installed on the hard drive. The NAVC software must be updated periodically to be effective; download the "Virus Definition Update Installer" from the NAV for DOS/Windows 3.x product section on Symantec's "Download Updates" Web page. |
