The mission of the Enterprise Messaging team is to provide reliable messaging services to the Johns Hopkins Institutions.  This site provides comprehensive information on the support services provided by the Enterprise Messaging team.  The team provides centralized support for:

• The Johns Hopkins Enterprise Messaging (JHEM) email system consisting of about 35,000 email accounts.
• The GroupWise email system supporting gateway systems (webmail, Internet-bound email) and approximately 18,000 email accounts.
• Perimeter email systems that route email in and out of the Hopkins network providing SPAM and virus protection.
• Instant Messaging and other collaboration tools including Blackberry/SmartPhone/PDA access to email.
• Mailing List Services
• Microsoft Office Sharepoint 2007 environment for general-purpose team collaboration.
